On Friday March 5, ELVIS & Friends Do the DIXIE - Las Vegas Style Tribute Artist Todd Allen Herendeen brings Elvis, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and others with his Follow That Dream Band to Apalachicola. His versatility has led him to perform as the opening act for such rock 'n' roll legends as: Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Chubby Checker, The Four Tops, The Platters, Leslie Gore, The Beach Boys, B.J. Thomas and The Drifters as well as Tim McGraw and Faith Hill!
March 12 & 13, The DIXIE Does Nashville 7 - Nashville’s finest, most talented writers come to the DIXIE to perform the hits they wrote for music legends like George Strait, The Dixie Chicks, Reba McEntire, Rascal Flats, the list is endless...Nashville’s Universal Music Publishing once again brings the cream of their crop to the DIXIE stage for the 7th installment of one of the Theatre’s most popular events. Delight in your chance to experience these extraordinary, magical evenings. Order tickets early for DDN 7 ‘cause they go faster than a speedin’ bullet. On Friday Trent Summar, Jeremy Spillman & Brent Anderson will grace the DIXIE stage with their talent and on Saturday, Phillip White and Marcel will wow us all and keep it goin' on.
March 19 & 20, COUNTRY & BLUES at the DIXIE - Jerry Garlick brings his BLUES in the LOT to the DIXIE stage. Friday March 19 we're going COUNTRY with Mickey Cash and Lick N' Gravey…yeah, that’s Johnny’s grandniece with the very talented Lick N’ Gravey band…you won’t want to miss ‘em. “Cash shows off those pipes in a prototype country ballad, leaving you wanting to hear a lot more” said T J Royal. On Saturday March 20, one of our favorite Blues performers Slim Fatz gets us started...we love him and are thrilled to have him back at the DIXIE...then Memphis-based blues band Brandon Santini & Delta Highway. This band’s music is pure living blues for modern times; it’s not rock-blues, soul-blues or any other hyphen-blues. The band features guitar, harp, organ/keys, bass and drums - no frills, just fine soulful ensemble blues playing. Come hear some of the finest Country & Blues musicians around and Jerry just might be sittin’ in on blues harp.
March 26, Bo Spring Band - Bo Spring (acoustic guitar, vocals), Randon Hicks (upright bass, vocals), Zach Ferrell (congas, trejon, etc.), and Art Long (sax) are as different as the many genres from which they collect their musical influences. You'll be hard pressed to see such a unique line up of instrumentation on one stage. But that is exactly what sets this group apart. Led by the strong vocals of Bo Spring, the same show has never been played twice by this group as the mix of original music and recognizable songs is ever changing.
March 27, Sarah Mac Band - Exceptional vocals and strong, smart lyrics make this gem of a band as solid and tight as they come…using a joyous blend of blues, rock, jazz and soul to deliver a sound that’s both Americana and Alternative. Sarah Mac's voice at times has the full power and grit of Janis Joplin, the sweet, soothing breathiness of Edie Brickell, and the soul-shaking raw tones of an old soul or gospel singer. Paired with Charlie's intricate guitar work and Claire's solid, intriguing bass lines, this trio will leave you wanting to hear more. “A true Florida treasure..."- Tampa News Weekly
